The Department of Interior Architecture and Industrial Design (IAID) at Kansas State University invites the Kansas City community to explore an extraordinary exhibition of student work. The event, aptly named "MADE in Manhattan," serves as a testament to the department's cutting-edge design-make curricula offered through its Master's degree programs in Interior Architecture (MIARC) and Industrial Design (MINDD).

The exhibit offers a comprehensive glimpse into the core facets of the department's curriculum, including Interior Architecture, Furniture Design, and Industrial Design. Each vignette highlights the remarkable talent and creativity nurtured within the IAID program.

Professor Nathan Howe, Head of the IAID Department, emphasizes the community-centric vision of the exhibit, stating, "How can we engage with the wider design community? Our students craft real-world solutions for today's and tomorrow's challenges. These solutions not only address known community issues but also extend to imaginative scenarios. We aim to bridge the gap by creating a welcoming 'Front Porch', inviting Kansas City to witness the exceptional creations 'Made in Manhattan' by our Interior Architecture and Industrial Design students and fostering meaningful connections with KC Design."

Made in Manhattan is a special event organized and presented by the KSU IAID program for KC Design Week!
